Tests and other Assignments--SMART MUSIC!
Posted on 1:18 PM by Awtrey Orchestra
There is a new software called Smart Music, which grades students based on their individual performance. This software will eliminate students having to take playing tests in front of their classmates (yippppeeee). It will also eliminate (for those who use it) practice logs because the program monitors the amount of time that a child spends on each assignment. Students can also turn in their reflections with this assignment, which will mean that everything is done electronically!
I am very excited about this program because it will play the assignment for students and show them what they did wrong. It's like having your own private teacher at home (for much cheaper)!!!!!!
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?
Soon I will send home a letter that will give you directions on purchasing and enrolling to use this software at home.
It cost $25 per household and includes a microphone for students to use at home. All students will have assignments due using this software so if you don't purchase it, you will have to arrange (on your own time) a time to complete it at school.
