You will write your scales (on the staff and finger patterns) on wednesday! You will be responsible for the C, G, D, and F major scales two octaves (except F). You may complete this assignment prior to Wednesday if you wish but you will not be allowed to use notes during class.
I will put examples on the blog later today but all of these scales are in your book! You will also play the scale of my choice for me on Wednesday.

8th Grade you will also write scales on wednesday but you will be responsible for C, G, D, F, B-flat, a minor, b minor, and e minor scales. You must write both the natural and harmonic forms of the minor scales and all of them should be 2 octaves. You will not have to play these scales until a later date.
