Summer Camps

The benefit of going to summer camp is that you get one-on-one instruction, you get to work with a wide variety of professional musicians, and you get to meet other orchestra students from around the world (literally). When I was a child, I loved summer camp because it was a week or even an entire summer (depending on the camp) of playing fun music and meeting new people.
You will come back next year and realize that you have gotten a lot better over the summer, which means that you will probably be a leader in your section and the music will seem easier.
